Sometimes we may feel confused at study or work. Wondering if this program or job is truly suitable for me? Do I really like what I’m taking? What should I do if I want to make a change?
In the upcoming workshop, we’re delighted to have our CareER alumni, Augustine Wong and Sandy Ma, who both establish a career that is completely different from their bachelor studies, to share their journey in searching for their passion and pursuing a fulfilling career.
We will start off with the individual speeches and then we’ll have the small group chit-chat session where you may spark conversations with a guest and CareER fellows!

Our first speaker, Sandy Ma, is a graduate with a Master’s degree in Psychology who now works tirelessly as a youth program worker. She will shed light on how she uncovered her calling as a mental wellness professional while she’s having her bachelor’s studies in English. There will also be sprinkles of tips on career mapping in attaining your career aspirations.
Next up, our second speaker, Augustine Wong, who’s currently the DevOps Assistant Lead at a tech startup, will share with us his stories in searching for his career passion during his bachelor studies in Linguistics. As a firm believer in “there are always solutions amidst the problems in life”, he is waiting to meet you all and brainstorm together ways to tackle your difficulties in career and personal development.
