- CareER registered as a charity in Hong Kong
2015
- Appointed the first Executive Committee
- Employed the first full-time employee, Walter Tsui
- King & Wood Mallesons became pro bono legal advisor and company secretary of CareER
2016
- KPMG became pro bono auditor of CareER
- Held the first annual fundraising event
2017
- Became a member of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS)
- Mr. Stephen Sui Wai Keung, GBS, JP accepted to become CareER’s Honorary Advisor
- Launched CareER Pilot Empowerment Internship Scheme 2017 – 2018

- CareER moved from a co-working space to an independent office in Hong Kong with onsite counselling rooms set up

- CareER launched ‘CareER Disability Inclusive Employer Badge’ recognition scheme
- CareER’s member pool reached 1000+

- CareER Disability Inclusion Index (DII) supported by Growth Partner and Funder, The DH Chen Foundation
- DII achieved SROI of 3.07
2025
- CareER awarded United Nations-affiliated Zero Project Award 2025 for the second time for its CareER Disability Inclusion Index (DII)
- CareER won dual-Platinum Awards by The Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS)’s Champion For Goods Award scheme: ‘Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion’ and ‘Excellence in Effectiveness on a small Budget’
- CareER launched 10th anniversary Chinese book《放肆.放試 -由牛頭角到聯合國的傷健共融歴程》
